The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) preferred supplications that encompassed the good of this world and the Hereafter, with few words but deep meanings, containing praise of Allah Almighty and noble purposes, and he would leave aside anything else.

• It is recommended to supplicate using simple words that encompass meanings of goodness, and it is disliked to resort to affectation and excessive elaboration in requests, as this goes against the guidance of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).
• The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was uniquely granted the ability to speak with concise yet comprehensive words.
• Adherence to what has been established that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated with, even if it is lengthy and contains many words, for all of it counts among the comprehensive supplications.

• No Muslim invokes Allah with a supplication that does not involve sin or severing ties of kinship, except that Allah will grant him one of three: either His supplication will be answered soon, or He will save it for him in the Hereafter, or...
• Your supplication is answered as long as one of you is not in haste, saying: I have supplicated to my Lord, but He has not yet answered me
• Verily, your Lord is Bashful and Munificent. He is too Bashful of His slave to let him go empty-handed when raising his hands to Him
• When one-third of the night had passed, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would get up and call out: O people, remember Allah
