It was a habit of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to not refuse a gift of perfume and would accept it, as it is light in weight and has a pleasant smell.

• It is recommended to accept the gift of perfume, as it is light in weight and does not incur reminders of generosity from the giver.
• The Prophet’s acceptance of perfume gifts indicates his perfect and good manners.
• We are encouraged to apply perfumes.
