The Hadīth indicates the blameworthiness of haughtiness and arrogance. Such haughtiness and arrogance appears in one's gait as he swaggers, in one's clothes, speech and in all his affairs. Whoever is in such a state of haughtiness, assumes himself to be great, and deserves to be exalted over others. This one will meet Allah on the Day of Judgment while He is angry with him.

• Whoever acquires knowledge that should be pursued for the sake of Allah Almighty for the sole purpose of securing worldly gains shall not smell the ‘Arf of Paradise on the Day of Judgment
• The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade qaza‘ (shaving part of one's head and leaving other parts unshaven)
• A man was brought to him, and it was said: This is so-and-so, and his beard is dripping with wine. Thereupon he said: We have been prohibited from spying. However, if we see something evident, we will act upon it
• Indeed, the cursers will not be witnesses or intercessors on the Day of Judgment
