Meaning of the Hadīth: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibits his Ummah from sleeping before putting out the fire that they lit.

• When the Messenger of Allah wanted to sleep, he would put his right hand under his cheek, and then say: O Allah, safeguard me from Your torment on the day You resurrect Your slaves
• When the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) went to bed every night, he would join his palms together and blow into them and recite the Surahs al-Ikhlās, al-Falaq, and an-Nās,
• When any of you performs ablution, let him sniff water in his nose and then blow it out. Whoever cleans his private parts with stones, let him do so with an odd number of stones
